close caption problem

i have an old sony crt w/ DTivo R10 and when i turn on the CC on my TV, it works fine, no delays and no break-ups

on my other tv, sony xs955 w/ sony HD200 receiver, turning on TV's CC doesn't do anything, and HD200 CC works really bad. not only it skips and delays, all the letters are broken up, it's not even english anymore.

anyone have a similar problem with HD200? is there a way to fix?

i bough my hd200 used on ebay a year ago, and other than CC it works pretty good.
