Present situation:
The internet coax comes out of the ground via a conduit. It then goes up to and under the the ledger board of our deck to the opposite corner and then enters the house.
This coax provides internet which allows us to stream and make wifi calls otherwise the cell signal stinks.
Monday the deck people will come and tear down the deck.
My plan:
We haven't had a land line phone for years. The land line enters the house though the poured concrete wall within inches of where the internet coax comes out of the conduit.
Is there any reason why I can't remove the old land line and use that hole for the internet coax and then run the cable along the floor joists to where it needs to go? For whatever reason a 1 inch hole was drilled for 2-pair wire.
