I have patiently been waiting for new programming in the Bay Area since the recent changes in December. It seems like we have been promised CNN and the Weather Channel HDTV and I also hear about other channels that I am mostly not interested in, but I am very cynical about the additional channels that Comcast is suggesting we will have by the end of 2008. It seems like Seattle and Atlanta folks talk more about programming than the Bay area folks.

Luckily for me, the Atlanta area seems to be usually close to the front of the pack on programming changes. It's surprising though how much local control there is regarding programming in the cable industry even with these huge cable providers.

BTW: We haven't gotten anything new since December either (we do have CNN HD though no Weather yet).

Give me three reasons why you don't like Comcast.

6 New HD Channels Coming to Baltimore on 1/08/08
