Comcast in Derry, NH adds new HDTV channels:

As the thread title says new HD channels have been added within the last few hours.

They are A&E HD, HGTV HD and Food Network HD.

let me know how food network hd looks, please. i'm waiting in anticipation for that to show up on directv.

Nothing here in Milford, NH yet...

We got a letter the other day stating that on June 26 we loose HDNet and HDNet Movies and we pickup AE&E and Nat Geo... no word on Food HD here..

It seems from what I was told that many ex Adelphia markets will be getting the new HD channels just a couple of weeks after the surrounding Comcast owned area's. So for example parts of Londonderry (ex-Adelphia customers) will see the channels after say Derry gets them as Derry was never an Adelphia market at least not in the last few years. Now how much longer will vary greatly and it can range from a day longer all the way to weeks and maybe months longer depending on the system Adelphia had in place.
