I loaded the new firmware, GSPMHD_0.13_11142012 (which is an upgrade from my 8/20 previous load) and am in the process of re-scanning all my channels.

Anyway, so far the only issue I noticed is that the SM5 116.8 KU sat was set to coordinates W 118.8 when I was going to activate it. I changed it first to the proper 116.8 and then activated it.

I remember somebody else in a posting saying this WAY back I think on a former firmware.

I wondered why this error wasn't caught for the very latest firmware?

It's a little problem I know, but I thought I'd bring it up.

Other than that, so far so good, and I'm liking what I see with the way it handles.

I did the above but not sure I have new firmware? Mine shows Software version TDV10290-1-0-2-0 Product version HDVSS4012-1108249Ao2012-10-19
I must have done something wrong. Guess I'll try again.

Noted and will be changed during next update. Overlooked as we were concentrating on the cycling reboot issue.

To save your changed position to be the default during a factory reset, Menu>>> Channel Manager>>> Save as Default

Loaded mine last night didn't get to play, is 78 degrees in there now?

Yes. Are you in the footprint? Southern US and Eastern North America should have no problem receiving the C-band signals. KU-band footprint is South America.

Thanks Brian! I can live with a single missed bug.

I'm just glad this isn't a DISH receiver, because there probably would have been 5-6 MORE bugs introduced, after the new firmware fixed 3 previous ones! lol
