Does anyone know a good, reputable computer tech support company?

One that you can call and if necessary they can remotely take over your computer.

Monthly or yearly coverage.

Preferably one in the U.S.

Why even bother?

Find a neighbor kid that's a computer geek or a friend/relative/neighbor who works in a real IT job. If PC Mag likes Geek Squad the best, I'd be worried. Best Buy and their Geek Squad arm only concerned with metrics and selling you crap you don't need. Find someone who doesn't have a vested interest in trying to screw you over.

Thanks for the link to the article. Sounds good from the article but the comments were all pretty bad about Geek Squad. The other two posters to this thread so far seem to agree with the comments.

The article websiite was acting kind of screwy on my computer also.

I think I will have to find something else. I had Verizon premium tech support while having no other Verizon products or services and they seemed pretty good at the time. However, now, they require that you have at least one of their services (TV, internet, or landline phone)
