I am trying to set up USALS with my coolsat 4ooo pro receiver. I am using a WI 6 ft dish and a DMX741 lnb. I have placed my dish at my true south sat which is Nimiq2 at 82 deg which is my longitude. The receiver has been programmed with both my long. and lat. When I tell the dish to go to another sat in this case 91 w it tells me its doing so bit does not move. If i place the dish on 91 with my receiver's remote which is connected through a GBOX which I have locked in at Q 96 % and tel it to go back to nimiq2 it tells me its doing so but nothing happens. It does not matter which sat I tell it to go to it tells me its doing so but again nothing happens. Obviously I am doing something incorrect. The fact the manual doesn't give step by step instructions compounds the problem. Can anyone give me some step by step instructions on this procedure.
Thanks Rodm

USALS is not available for C-Band linear actuator controllers ie. GBox VBox. Those boxes do not recognize USALS commands.
You will need to program position numbers for the sats you want and store them in the memory of the GBOX. And then use position numbers in your STB to move the dish

Magic, I wish I had asked this question two days ago. I would have saved myself aprox. 17-18 hours of grief...lol . THANKS now back to the drawing board.

I too want to use USALS on a WSI 6' with a DMX741. But knowing what I just told you I may have wasted more than 18 Hrs LOL. I put a SG2100 on that Dish
Winter hit hard and fast here and I have to delay putting this dish into use.
