I purchased one of the cheap Coolsat 6000 from Ebay, have a 31" dish and the following LNB and I am going to place it fixed on Galaxy 10R

LNB
ROC model# 785A , standard linear
Rf 11.70Ghz - 12.20 Ghz
If 950 Mhz - 1450 Mhz
LO 10.75 Ghz

The Coolsat (Dish Settings) ask for the following

LNB Power: ON / OFF / 13V / 18V
LNB Type: Single / Universal / OCS (it is my understanding mine is a standard)
LNB Freq: Select LNB Osc. freq.
22KHZ: Set the path
DiSEqC switch: OFF / 1.0 / 1.1

Thanks for any help with the setting, please let me know if you need more information

LNB Power ON
LNB Type SINGLE
LNB Freq 10750
22k is OFF
Diseqc is OFF unless you have other dishes/LNB's in the setup

Just wanted to say "Thanks" set the box settings and a little adjustment to the dish and it dropped right in.

I live most of the year about 500 miles in Mexico, I will bring the setup down and see what satellites and programming are accessible, should be interesting.

Wow, I'll bet your elevation will be really high that far into Mexico! I would think the only problem you might have is finding a dish pointer for Mexico. I'm sure they exist, but the regular sites I look at might not work!

everybody's doin' it, doin' it, doin' it

The GeoSatFinder is set up for Canada, USA, and Mexico.
...and is hosted by one of our main advertizers.

It looks like the satfinder page on the Sadoun site will do Mexico.
At least it will take you there on the map . . .
...another of our main advertizers.

If you have the latitude and longitude, our own The List sat calculator will do all of North America.

Well, I'm shocked! -
Actually, I only knew the first site would do Mexico by name, but it's good to discover the others will , too.
