corotor wideband

I have done some reading and the corotor wideband is used for circular c band signals. Will there be much of a drop using this on a regular c band lnb instead of using a regular corotor? Thanks

I am trying to find out if I use a standard linear polarity lnb on cband, will it be affected due to a different design in comparison to the standard corotor.

ok lets see if i can explain this to help you help us. . .

the corotors/corotor II are just the feedhorns which you bolt your c or ku band LNBs to.

and lnb by it self dont carry polarity, the feed does this.

Then Why is a wideband feedhorn needed? Why cant a wideband lnb work on a standard feedhorn?
