Just got Voom installed yesterday. the installer, while a nice guy, did a so-so job. Did not have a OTA antenna with him, and said "well you don't need it anyway there are no HDTV channels here now" He did not ground the dish, and only placed 2 screws to mount it to my home. For some reason hooked up both component and dvi too, which makes no sense, then did not hook up a phone line.
2 hours after it was installed and working, it stopped. no signal. tried to restart, reboot, called voom and not able to get it to work.
They are coming back out on tuesday to troubleshoot it. I think the damn dish moved because he did not install it right. But i'll see on Tuesday.
Did you get yours installed?
I have cable and DTV in the house also. Long story. But Voom while it worked looked great next to DTV, which since I upgraded to a 56" DLP, now looks bad. I was supposed to get the locals with DTV but am still waiting since may.
