Cost of Dish HD vs Direct TV

How much longer can Dish justify charging twice as much for HD as Direct TV? I''ve been a Dish Customer for a couple of years and would like to upgrade to HD, I'm happy with Dish but it makes no sense to me to pay $20 a month for something I can just as easily get for $10 a month. Dish may have Voom but It's hard for me to say that's going to be worth $10 a month to me.

Speculation I know, but with Direct now having as much or more HD as Dish how much longer can Dish justify charging twice as much?

dish in the beginning only charged 10bucks for hd when they only had five channels. so the question is really "how long until directv starts charging 20 for hd". i see directv going up in price before i see anyone else going down in price.

Realisticly, I would not expect that price too much longer. They would have to increase it eventually. For D* subs sake, I hope it continues at that rate for as long as possible.
