Cowgirl Channel Shutdown?

It looks like Cowgirl Channel is shutting down - less than 3 years after it launched. There is currently a notice on the channel saying "The cowgirl channel content is moving over to Cowboy Channel+ starting 11/16. Catch all your favorite shows in one place."

Except, it sound like from what you said, it was merged with the other channel, so the content is still there ...

That channel played the Dallas Cowgirls football games 24-7 . No one wanted to watch them lose over and over again. You can watch them lose live every time they play . . GO BIRDS !!!

I too had never heard of it.

Yeah - some of the content is on Cowboy Channel where there was overlap between Cowboy Channel and Cowgirl Channel. But some of the shows that were specific to Cowgirl Channel is now only on Cowboy Channel+, which costs an extra $8.99 a month.

I never spent time watching the channel myself. I watch LAFF a lot, which is on 239, and the adjacent channel on my channel guide is 233, which was Cowgirl Channel. Sometimes I accidently tuned into Cowgirl Channel trying to get to LAFF.
