I am using a D 500 Legacy Twin with two cables going to a 322. Is there a way to run one cable?
I plan on adding a 3900 later. can I do this using the same dish?
I am amazed at the well informed answers given in this forum.
Aint free will and interprise great?
Thanks

Nope. No way will that LNB work. You'll have to swap it out for a DP+ Twin. That's the only way you'll be able to power up both receivers with a single feed for each. Keep in mind, for the 322, you'll also need a DP Separator. That will allow both Tuner #1 and Tuner #2 to work properly

You could upgrade to a Dish Pro Plus Twin or upgrade to a Legacy quad. Your Legacy Twin is maxed out with 2 tuners running off it.

Will a plain Jane DP Twin be good enogh?
A 123254 separator came with the reciever. Is it the right one?
Any advice is welcome.

Nope, DP Twin and DP+ Twin are two different technologies. Only the DP+ equipment allows the bandstacking required to support the dual-tuner receivers over a single coax through the seperator.
