Ok, called D*....the unit won't stay connected to the internet. CR spent 20 minutes running tests. Having me check cable...ect, Says the problem is with my router or internet provider. Nothing they can do.

I LOATHE these products wars. "It's not us....it's them". I just went through this with Panasonic. So, sometimes I have internet on the receiver. Sometimes I don't.

Idiots.

For testing purposes, run a cable and try it again. That way you'll know if it's the Netgear or something else.
 
Not a DirecTV issue; sounds exactly like IP conflicts in your network; need to setup static assigned IPs on your router for each device.
 
D* recommends 2mps for sd, 4mps for hd downloads. Any less than that and you'll run into that prob. Just ran into that one on a service call today.
