Legislation gives residents more time to prepare for digital television conversion.... talking about where President Bush is givng West Virginia an extra 30 days for the conversion..

It's actually nationwide, and it's only to broadcast PSA's etc to tell folks how to get DTV.

There was a report posted elsewhere listing some places that don't have the ability to fit into this plan (interference, etc).

People have had more then a year to prepare.. Thats long enough.

Pretty much. They've had about as long as he's served that second term of his to get it overwith.

They've had quite a while. The conversion was originally supposed to be in 2007!

I worry about people who won't have any signal at all due to stations running their digital transmitters at lower power than the analog ones, but I don't see the government doing anything about that.
