Been a customer for awhile and finally upgrading to HD. They'll be sending out an installer next month to install a new dish and customer service told me I'll need to have a letter from the HOA approving the newer bigger dish. What are the dimensions of the dish so I know what to tell the HOA?

All you will need is to follow your HOAs info policy; you do no need any approval letter as such; UNLESS maybe if your HOA is part of a co-op or rental like and apartment or townhouse complex?
They want the actual dimensions. Don't know why, but is this it?

Yes, that is the dish. As far as the HOA goes, the dish is under the 1 meter diameter to qualify it for OTARD protection.
The HOA emailed back saying it's fine to switch, as long as the dish isn't seen from the street. If I understand those rules though, if the installer can't make it hidden from the street then they can't prohibit it from being installed in a visible location?
red, just for your info your HOA cannot dictate the location. My HOA also has the same language but that's just hot air. Personally I wanted the dish to be hidden as much as possible so it worked out for the best.
