KVIA is still on D*. KVIA is owned by News-Press&Gazette. D* will continue to broadcast KVIA while the two co. negotiate a deal.

Chicago's 3rd PBS station is like this as well, while the other 2 ONLY have their main feeds carried, but both are also in HD.

This is true. The only exception I can think of is PBS in North Carolina, where both the primary HD feed and the UNC-EX subchannel is carried in the HD markets.
