DirecTV dropping "Advanced Receiver Fee" for new accounts, devices now $10/month

Had they dropped the Advanced Recvr Fee and the RSN fee and any Other extra fees they choose, I May have stayed with them ...
That came to about $45 per month.

No I asked because John2021 just switched form DIRECTV to Dish recently and commented on the DIRECTV fees and from your comment I thought maybe you had switched to DISH also.

It changed for all receivers at the same time along with removal of the ARS fee and the new activation fee.

i missed that!!!

but we were paying 7.00 for the second box first one included we didn't pay the activation fee either. no worries about the miss understanding . and we were paying the stupid 15.00 receiver fee. i asked them what was so freaking advanced about them to warrant a 15.00 fee a few times

each box is 10.00 not 7.00 the advanced receiver is is gone!!! i posted a fake order today!!! no more first box included don't matter if it's a gemini or an old school client. existing customers should be locked in to what they were paying before...

DISH has no RSN fee's since they don't carry the RSN'S $ 5.00 mirror acces fee for our hopper 3 and 4k joey not 10.00 first box included in the price of the package DVR fee is $ 10.00 across the board for our hopper 3 owned and hopper with sling leased.

for the RSN'S they could do like an alacarte type thing and charge by the sub base and not charge everyone, but these stations have become so greedy!!!

were paying $10.00 for our hopper 3 and $5.00 for each joey 4.. they reversed the lease fee since we bought our own boxes also so we never paid the lease fee either...

I probably would have stayed with D* had they done away with the $23-25 Added Fees.
It would have been more acceptable billing wise.

We were paying the $15.00 advanced receiver fee not worth it to me!!! now it's 10.00 per box no free first box ... There pricing is insane so cut the advanced receiver fee and now charge for the first box upping the bill by 5.00 more... that makes alot of sense. there just kicking themselves in the ass...
