I'm not sure if D* still offers it or if they have expanded... do they have the major networks (NBC,ABC,CBS, FOX) offer a download service (free)

yes...well Fox doesnt

but yes CBS (1002), NBC (1004) and ABC (1007) are there. And they work on the Genie
