I inquired with Directv customer service as to when they will get Fox News HD and I was informed that Directv has no plans to carry that channel.

You would have gotten the same answer if you asked about ANY hd channel that Direct is not carrying.

Maybe yes, maybe no. You probably got the same canned response that everyone get's when they ask about such and such channel being added.
