Directv instillation question?

I want to get directv for my home but, from my backyard I'm not sure if the dish has a clear line of sight because I live in a 3 story townhouse and can't put it in my front yard due to all the hoa bs. What I would like to know is if direct tv will get on a 3 story roof to mount the dish so that it will have a clear line of sight? thanks

The FCC has put into place rules that trump HOA rules. If there is no other place to put the dish but the front yard they can't stop you.
Whether DirecTV will put the dish on a three story roof, I doubt it.

Have D* come out, if they have no Line of Sight they will cancel the order.
Also, you could contact a local company that installs and they may be able to come out and check LOS for you.

Are there other townhouses nearby with dishs? You can get a good idea by looking at which way your neighbors odu's are pointing.
