That is what they recommend, but before my last speed increase I had 18mbps, and while it would buffer at the start, it would ramp up to and hold 4k with netflix.

thats still above what @ 20% of the country has access to.
then add in multi streams, pc's, ect
i would put the minimum mark at least at 50Mbs

and you dont think they will eventually get 4k streaming?
That I'm really not sure. The way Netflix works it throttles the data stream to work with the customer. I can see something like that working out. Netflix has this streaming thing down to a science.

you can only throttle/compress so much before you lose quality, or have to change the rez, or allow buffering

throttling is not the answer
