Are we really going to have to go through this again???

Exsiting Customers
24 month commitments ALL HD Equipment, and All DVR equipment thats leased.
12 month on Stand alone SD receivers ONLY
No commitment on defective receiver replacement, Unless you accept an upgrade or replace a owned receiver with a leased one.

I am glad you do too.

However, don't be afraid of commitment.
Life is full of contacts and TV is just one of those things you will pay for one way or the other.
So, you might as well like what you have (contact or not).

This time its not your fault,:D LOL! This is just a case of the classic, "I'll post before I finish reading"

guys lets get back on topic. The OP said he has 2 DVR's and was able to upgrade to a 2nd DVR yet some people decided to go off on a tangent for 60 some odd posts about a commitment.
 
Received the new (refurbished) HR21-200 last night. Although it isnt the newest equipment, I cant complain as it did not cost me anything. I called and activated it and they are sending me out the DECA equipment to wire it into my MRV system. I am very pleased with the outcome and service from Directv. Can not complain at all. Thank you all for your help and comments. I am happy to be joining your world from Dish.
