DirecTV Now Beta (Invite Only) for FireTV with DVR

Beta 2.0 is reportedly out:

Version numbers are overhyped. This was reported by cord cutter news sites that just report what's on reddit.

For example, the roku beta is only on 1.27.. the fireTV beta is on version 2.something and has been for a few weeks.. the UI is very buggy. iOS is on version 2.something. More telling than the version number is they took the beta logo off the splash screen when the app loads on the iPhone. They are probably a good few weeks/months away from the beta becoming public. The roku beta app has to catch up feature wise and the fireTV beta has to fix some very annoying UI bugs.

Was able not access the Beta app without invite. Recent airings recordings don't work, crashes often, no way to manage recordings unless canceling recordings. The guide is improved though.
