Directv on Demand download speed.

Does anyone know what the download speed is from the Directv on Demand server? Reason I ask is that I can get either 7 or 15 mbps download speed from my ISP. Of course the 15 costs more. Will it make any difference which package I get?

Can your computer connection handle those speeds? Your ISP maybe able to, but that doesn't mean you computer can. I doubt DirecTV is stingy on bandwidth, but I could be wrong. I have had great performance with half the connection speed you report, very fast downloads. So far no HD yet, despite being advertised on certain articles, but I will test when they become available.
