Is It Possible to sign up for directv Service and Recieve Programming from Outside of the US if one had a subscription in the US, the decoder and a good enough dish? I am abroad, and I am trying to find a way to watch the NFL games and American Television in general. Thanks for any help. Wayne

No, it can be done just outside of the U.S boarders in the "gray area", but it is illegal. your receivers must be is the U.S to receive DirecTV programming legally.

Make friends with someone in the Military and see if they can get you access to AFRTS Armed Forces Radio Television Service. It beams selected programming to bases around the world.
