I have never seen FIOS, so I can't offer you an opinion that way, I know most people love it, but others say its got a way to go as far as programming and ease of use of its equipment.

I have seen it in 2 locations, 1 seemed pretty good, the other had some major "issues" still with equipment. Also very pricey.

Of course, since FIOS is expected in this area in 2010 or later, NO ONE AROUND THESE PARTS CARES about FIOS.

By that time, the sat & cable worlds will be yet another generation older in capabilities and equipmen and more competitive.
