So thru the 2021-22 season?
With declining subs, and the Sunday Ticket apparently not pulling them in like it used to, that cost per sub is going to become breathtaking.

I'm thinking that while yes it will remain with D* thru the contract, it will be offered to the masses after the contract ends, however, I see D* keeping the ST as well (at a MUCH lower cost).I'll bet they make most of their money on commercial side, and no one is cord cutting at a bar or restaurant.
It will be interesting to see what happens with NFLST after the current contract after the 2022 season. Will the NFL be able to get that much money from multiple non exclusive partners, or will AT&T win another exclusive where Directv is the only cable/satellite provider with it but they also offer it as a standalone streaming offering?
Yes I bet they make big $$ off all the business and restaurants

His point was a way to Keep some of the money, as those establishments aren't going anywhere.

The NFL makes me laugh. They like the money it generates from DirecTV, yet are continuously deluding the product with increasing nationally televised games which pull from Sunday Ticket.
They are about to add a week to the schedule but keep the number of games the same...18 weeks but only 16 weeks worth of games....maybe they will dump the useless thursday night games
They are also talking about going to 18 games but only allowing players to play in 16 of the 18 each year as a way to address injuries. Not sure if they can get the players union to go along with it but I kind of hope they do as that would be a very interesting addition - you'd have to think about when you want to sit your stars. If they do that it will add inventory to NFLST. Otherwise spreading the season across 18 weeks instead of 17 means even fewer NFLST games. I wonder if Directv has anything in their NFLST contract to adjust pricing if they have fewer or more NFLST games due to NFL scheduling changes?
