Hi all- please pardon my ignorance on this one.
I currently reside on the southern edge of the Pearl of the Antilles (should be easy enough to figure out). I have access to a Direcway dish that my company no longer needs for Sat internet. It is oval shaped and I would guess it is a bit over 1 sqm.
It was used only for Direcway two way internet.
We are within the Directv footprint.
I want to use the dish for Directv only, not internet.
I know the dish will work for both (re posts of how to add DTV to Dway).
Here is my Q- Can I use the DWay Tx/RX assy for DTV? Or do I need to buy the DTV LNB from Wal Mart to make it work?
Thanks!

You would be much better off to just buy a single LNB, especially if you can acquire it simply by going to Wally World :)

I figured that this would be the case. I can get a LNB shipped in easy enough - but had hoped that I could just hook up my coax to the RX horn and be good to go. Thanks for the quick reply.

Can I assume that you are not a legal subscriber?
Directv will give you a dish and install it free if you are a new scbscriber.
