Disable TV window in Recording List

Is there a way to disable the TV window in the recording list? Football and Hockey season are starting up soon and I frequently come home during the middle of the game. There has go to be a way to get to the recording list without seeing the game or sound as to not ruin the score.

agh the lovely function Missing From ALL Newer DVR , is the INput source on the 721's , simply hit 0 & say bye bye to any potential spoilers , unfortuantley DIsh Works Backwards So these feature is removed from Newer DVRS

what WOULD be Nice is if the DVR functions worked while in menu ( like the 721 does flawlessly)

Couldn't he record the game on a tuner other than the one he's watching? (Just thinking out loud here, I haven't tried it and I'm not going to try it because I have no need for it.)

I just change the channel before I go to the recording list if I don't want to see the what channel it was originally tuned to.

But what do you do if you don't want events spoiled while both (or three) are on at the same time? Example: last night I had NFL game, Nascar and MLB, two started at 8, the other at 7.

Yes, recording the program on the "other" tuner would solve his problem entirely. There are times that you can't help this though.... Well, you could with some pre-planning, I suppose. It shouldn't be that much work though.

Well my problem is not the DVR spoiling, it is friends and family calling me and spoiling it...
I have quit answering the phone or text msgs during those times frames....
