Dish adds Smithsonian Channel as part of CBS Agreement

Smithsonian Channel content is available free on ROKU right now including full episodes of some programs (probably their entire line-up :) ) Just saw 3 documentaries yesterday on this Roku channel.

That's like saying Fox News content is available for free on ROKU. Just a very small selection.

I switched to Uverse and now can watch the real Smithsonian Channel, I don't have to constantly beg Charlie to add it , or FXM HD, or Ovation HD , or Military History Channel, among others.

Dish has a better receiver in Hopper but that is about it. I bought a Slingbox which serves me just as well.

All in the Family?

Close!
Golden Girls.

No, harshess got it right. It was a TV program called Maude staring Beatrice Arthur and Bill Macy playing her character's fourth husband. Maude would often say, "God'll get you for that Walter". Maude was a spinoff of All In The Family.

If you hear anything about the Military History Channel, please be sure to trumpet it from on high.
