Dish DVR 921

I have the DVR 921 but it will not get HD channels. Can I swap it in to get one that will? We've already upgraded one receiver to the 622, but would like to upgrade that one to 722.

if you have not done the disin it upgrade promotion in the last 12 months then you can participate in that promotion again. you can get the 722 it depends on what you qualify for - you cn get one under the diup promo for like $199 upfront w/ 18month contract but can get a $100 mail in rebate

Don't expect more than $10 for the return of your owned 921 if you DIU for a leased 722/622.
Perhaps better to keep as an OTA receiver and recorder.

Does the 921 still have to be connected to a Dish (as well as an OTA antenna) to just be used to view and record OTA signals even if it is no longer an authorized receiver?
