One of those old test pattern screens from the 60's would be more exciting than watching the RNC this year.
I'm just curious to know what kind of coverage Dish will provide that we won't see on all the other media outlets, either HD or SD. CSPAN and PBS usually have the most extensive coverage of either convention.
Not John McCain in HD.... Cindy McCain in HD.
And don't forget Arnold Schwarzenegger in HD.
If the Republicans are smart, Arnold will be on stage all the time, as sort of a host (like the Oscars).

Back to the topic. Political sponshorship works. Look at Staples who's convention center hosted the convention last time. Today they are number one in their class in a bad economy. Dish will do the same. The tides are turning and its good to be on the side "of the people, by the people and for the people"

Considering what this country has been through the past 8 years, comments like this do not go far in exhibiting ones intelligence. Well I do have to disagree in that some people like their poop plain while others like it crunchy.
The only thing that saddens me is when I hear people who think that one party's leaders are corrupt and self-serving, while the other party's leaders only want what is best for the people.
Of course, the fact that half the people identify one party as the corrupt one, and the other half identify the other party as the corrupt one, should be a big clue that they are both corrupt and self-serving...

Correct, but I do see what their corrupion is working for: big busimness, evangelicals and the wealthy or the working man and families and the middle class. Take your sides.
That and its always interesting to see how most think their local house/senate reps are saints and the problems are always due to all the others. However, that has nothing to do with how well they do their jobs. Its our failure for not looking into how well they do them. Just like the war. Its not Bush's fault. Its all those in the senate who said 'go get em cowboy!'. And then... right now its ultimately our fault and we have nobody to blame but ourselves for not getting rid of those that approved it.

I watched the Forum last night in HD on CNNHD, it was very informative on what BOTH of our candidates think the future holds for us. I am a proud "Conservative American" and I do vote, but I do like to know what my opponant is thinking so I can form my own decisions with out teh Media (ALL OF THEM) tell me how they want me to vote. Bottom line, I'll watch the conventions (Both of them) and form my own opinion on who to vote for, NOBODY on this messageboard will convinced me who to vote for, I have my own mind.
(BTW, Cindy McCain was in the audience, and looked great in HD), I don't think it showed Mrs. Obama.
