I am new to Dish Network, previously with Directv. I have satellite internet and have limited streaming availability. Does the on demand shows and movies just use internet data to order the programs with viewing occurring over the Dish network, or does the entire show(s) stream over the internet using data throughout the entire show?

If you have a Hopper the movies on channel 501 are downloaded by satellite and stored on the hard drive.
