- EPG guide is revamped and customizable.

922 will have browser apps.

Similar to the iPhone and user generated apps. They will open up the SDK to everyone. Then users can download new apps that will work on your 922.

Mark has been talking about Sling technology and placeshifting.. Watching your content anywhere you are connected. Be it in the house (wireless, wifi, networked), or mobile.
Now they are showing a video about SlingGuide.

Sling technology will let you watch content from your PC on your STB, and vice versa.
They will be selling an app on iTunes that you can dl to your iPhone or iPod Touch that will transform it into a remote control for your 922. So you can use the Dish touchpad remote, or your iPhone.

CSR will be able to troubleshoot your STB remotely, much like Remote Assistance for Windows. It also contains STB health monitors that will be transmitted back to Dish, so they can do preventive maintenance.
