Dish New Customer Question

I want the HD250 and will purchase a Vip 222k from an online dealer. I do not need installation as I can do it myself. Dish's online ordering process requires that you select a time to schedule a tech, and a solo 211/411 receiver is already selected. Will I be eligible for the current $30 off a month promotion and free HD for life I should I buy my own receiver and do the install myself?

If you want the promo buy and have it installed by DISH. If you want to buy and install it yourself that is your promo.

if your credit is not an issue but the contract is you can pay $99 and opt out of the contract plus $99 for HD for life or 2 year contract for auto pay that will have penilty if you ditch dish prior to the 2 years

If you purchase your equipment, you cannot get promo pricing.

Seems I recall dirt saying as long as you agreed to a 2 yr commitment you could get new customer pricing even if you purchased your equipment & did your own install.
