Anyone seen this? If I have replaced the batteries with tested new ones and continue to get this messsage, would I assume the remote is bad? Can you reset a remote?

If you have more than one remote paired, you could be replacing the batteries in the wrong remote. Just a thought. (Yup; I have done this.)

Thanks, the warning went away after a few days, but I hadn't thought of this, and it makes perfect sense, we use two remotes.

If you're curious, hit the home button a few times to get to the diagnostics screen. It will list all your remotes there, with their battery levels as well as locators buttons for each remote so you can identify which remote goes with what level of battery they're at.
