Dish to bid for T-Mobile/Sprint assets

Earlier reports said tm/Sprint were asking for clause that excluded Amazon/Google type companies from owning part of dish and feds were resisting.

With Dish having access to the Sprint/T-Mobile network for 6-7 years, they should be pretty equal service wise I would think. The phones and plans offered will likely make the difference.

I wish it was Verizon.

And I still wouldn't sign up. Verizon is king for rural areas.

Nope. I already ventured outside my home great state of Texas and once I get back there will never leave again.

I recently had to switch to metro from Verizon due to Verizon getting ridiculously expensive and so far I've been able to get great service throughout southern Idaho. Seems T-Mobile is improving slowly but surely and upgrading the network

That's why we have both Verizon and AT&T cell services. Combined with our Max Amp RV cell signal amplifier/repeater, we've yet to land anyplace where we didn't have service. Even in some places where the coverage maps show no service.

Fact is Verizon does not work as advertised in many areas. When I went to Amarillo we had Verizon AT&t and T-Mobile phones in the car, at&t was a total fail while Verizon had multiple dead areas in Wyoming Colorado and Oklahoma. Funny thing is where Verizon didn't get a signal T-Mobile had a strong connection

I found the Oklahoma panhandle to just be terrible when it comes to cell service regardless of carrier.

Only till the rain settles down to a small pattern. But you will have to do nightly reboots of your phone to keep it functioning properly.

Texas isn't just a state. It is its own country. I really liked Texas aside from the heat in August the first time I was there.

I live in Illinois close to St Louis. To me the heat is worse here than Texas due to the higher humidity.

I'm not a fan of excessive humidity either, and we get plenty of it in central NC, but Fort Worth in August was like living inside a blow-dryer.

I was in Collinsville last night and it was extremely humid, even after a gully washer lowered temps into the 70's-

80F and stifling 90% humidity this morning in Tulsa metro. SUCKS, I would rather be in Vegas at our condo with the dry heat.
