dish vs voom

i have a dish 600 connected through component and voom through dvi. I cant help to notice that dish has slighly better PQ, anybody else notice this?

Are you in 1080i mode on the Voom STB? Press the red button under the cover on the right of the set-top box until just the top bar flashes.

You may also have to recalibrate your DVI input, as the settings for one may not be the best settings for the other.

I have the same setup you do and I find when comparing DiscHD that Dish has a slight edge in sharpness but the colors look more natural via DVI on Voom. They both look fantastic so I can't complain. I'm viewing on a 720p projector at 110".
