I have 1990 brand new 24” Von Weiss actuators, older satellite finders, AVCom portable Spectrum Analyzer, Bull-1 Dishmover, portable test receiver. My question are these in need in the 21st century

for the general public, the answer would be no... For members of this forum, the answer would likely be yes I could certainly use an Avcom portable spectrum analyzer
 
Actuators are items that are subject to wear so that is a yes to people in the hobby. Would probably need more details on the finders and test receiver to properly determine if they are still of use.
 
Agree with other posters. Items could be useful to some hobbyists here. Would be great if you could post more details.
 
This is what I have, as you know shipping is pretty high dollar, I would give these away to who would have the need for them, but shipping would be on you

Von Weiss actuators were notorious for the nylon bushing failing over the years, letting the dish fall down. I used a lot of them, but eventually, I remedied the problem.

I turned out replacement nuts made of oilite stock. My lathe will cut Acme threads and I made a tool to spread open the flanges holding the new nuts. With the new nuts, they'd last forever.

They were super quite and you could use them on heavier fiberglass dishes. The other stuff is handy if you need it. Most people won't, but I'd hang on to them anyway.
 
From my perspective, it's too bad that good C-band reception requires 8- to 10-foot diameter dishes. I wouldn't mind playing around with receiving some C-band content, especially given the greater volume of stuff available on C-band. The 1.2m KU band dish I'm getting ready to install is about as large as I'm willing to go, especially without offending my better half.

I too can't install a big dish right now. So I've gone deeply into using a 1.2m dish to receive C-band signals. I've received C-band tps from 117W to 3W. I've written about this in other threads. PM me if you want to discuss details and results I've obtained.
