I would like to know the distance a node can be from the dish itself, if this matters. I see that the Hopper has to be within 200 feet of the node, but does it matter how far the node is from the dish? I am looking at a distance of 20 feet. Thanks!

I believe the approved answer is 200feet from dish to hopper total.

That is correct... From LMB to furthest hopper max 200ft also between any hopper and joey the max is also 200ft.

I have a hopper right at 200' from the Dish and it works like a charm. RG6 buried cable. If you went with better cable (RG11 maybe?) you could go further. I had to really fight Dish to install 200 feet from the house. But since it works great I had the "I told you so moment with the local supervisor"
