I saw this earlier tonight too. The ususal channel surf from Court TV down to TLC and said.. what's this just under the Millitary channel? Hmmm... new programing! Maybe the New HD channels will be up soon.

I guess I'm not crazy...I happened to hit this channel flipping thru channels earlier this evening, and didnt think I ever remembered seeing it before. They were showing some sort of a documentary about the Chicago Cubs that looked like it was filmed sometime in the 70s.

WOOOHOOO! I have been asking for this channel for quite some time. Though I wonder if this really is a PI channel. Is it a non-profit channel? I don't think so. It is commercial free, but I don't know if it is owned by a non-profit org.

1. The EPG appears to be from a different time zone.

2. If it is really a "public interest" channel why is it not in the 9400 range like the others?

Dish isn't required by law to carry the Documentary Channel. . . lol
