Does anyone here install DirecWay... HughesNet...? Few questions

Hello all.

I just installed my first Hughesnet for a customer a few days ago.

I had the max signal at like 180. I think it dropped down to like 170 when I locked everything down. Is this good or normal?

Does the signal quality affect speed or will they still get their same paid speed? I did a speed test and it said they were getting like 400Kbps. They are on a 1Mb plan. I don't know if the speed test was off or not.
