Last September AMI of AVforum said the following:

What a farce. They are shooting themselves in the foot with this. Most of the people who are going to shell out all that money, even for the cheaper one, will expect HDMI support for Blu Ray. If they dont get it many people wont be happy.
Without HDMI it may be unable to play HD DVD's if they flag everything except HDMI sometime in the future.
So does it have HDMI connections and what about audio functions are they as good as Toshiba's?
