download problem with zip

need help with downloading a zip file marked "with attachment" my down loader or something changes the file to a php html file. and downloads this . attachment.php. i don't have a clue could someone steer me in the right direction? i tried looking in other forums with no luck. thanks in advance....

Are you left clicking it or right click then "save as"?

Some file D/L links will not allow the right click then "save as" option and you will simply need to normally click through.
