I have a Cband and Ku Linear LNB on my BUD, but I would like to use my QPH-031 instead of my linear one that is being controlled by the polorator(better signal). I changed the settings on the setup menu to both being an LNBF, but only got nothing, changed settings back to LNB and only get HOR polarity. Any ideas?

ok you should have a single coax from the L to the K input on the dsr-922
this will allow you to receive ku only , i suspect you have this set from a stationary dish to say X4. then goto setup in the 4dtv (922) and let it know that you have a "ku LNBF" should work from there.

this setting will likely not allow you to use the c band side at the same time. unless you set it up with same type of c & ku lnbf like a bsc 621

Just a FYI, my problem was that I had to tell the 922 that my LNBF is 90 degrees off, then it worked fine.

Both my old 905 and 922 needed the LNBF setting to "rotated 90 deg" when using KU on another dish for X4. It only takes seconds to switch it in the menu. That drove me crazy when I was setting up my 90cm dish.
