DTV in Costa Rica?

Mornin'. I have a 1.2m Channelmaster DirecTV dish & my DTV receiver from up north, Is is possible to get any U.S. DTV programming down here in Costa Rica. We don't like the SKY network provided here from Mexico. thnx

There are a few threads about this very subject. So far it seems that getting hd that far south is very difficult and requires a very complicated setup. Sd can be gotten with a much larger than standard dish. I doubt the 1.2 m is big enough. This link may provide you with some help. I just clicked on it and it's working fine for me. Maybe try it again or do a search for Costa Rica in the Directv section.

I have a couple questions about Dish Network in Costa Rica, we are using 3-4 meter Dish with dual Dtv Lnb for 119 satellite, I see a pattern in transponder loss can't figure out what problem is! If Anyone can help I can get more detailed info for you.
