Can this be used with an FTA receiver? The FTA receiver has only one input and I was wondering if just one port of the LNBF can be used and the polarity will be voltage switched.

Yes, you can use just one port of the LNBF, and it should function just like a single LNBF.

in most dual LNB's both outputs can get both polarities at the same time. The Primestar ones are usually the exception

I have a dual LNB on a setup for one receiver. The 2nd output does go into the house but goes nowhere right now. Nothing hooked up
