DVR Missed Record

Has anyone ever had this happen? I was watching a recorded movie last night and I had the DVR (HR20-100)scheduled to record two episodes of The Office from 10 to 11. When the movie was over I checked my record list and the DVR only recorded the first episode and not the second like it was supposed too. I checked in the history menu and it said that the episode partially recorded due to an unexpected error. Has anyone ever had this happen? This was the first time I'd ever been recording something and watching a recorded program at the same time. What do you think?

I've had this series link setup for a couple of weeks and it's always worked properly in the past.

Mine missed Boston Legal last night for some reason.

The Boston Legal miss could be because it was pre-empted last minute last week for a CA wildfire special. I'm sure that episode was the one that aired last night and it might have looked like a repeat and if your SL is set to record first run only, that would explain the missed recording. I've had that happen on Tivos too.
