DVR Service Fee?

if you get a standalone DVR, you jsut need to setup your RX to be on the desired channel at the start time. some DVRs will have a remote option that allow it to change your RX channel, but most cheap ones do not.

to me the fee for the DVR service is worth it. i cna record 2 shows at once, and watch them when i want. our DVRs(all 4 of them) get quite the work out. we record some stuff in teh Den for all of us, my daughter records her kids shows, my son records his shows, then my wife and i record a few shows in the bedroom for those nights when nothign is on at bedtime.

No , You no longer can lease an DVR without the DVR function.
Just like and HD DVR you must pay $10 for HD and $6 for the DVR. But that covers your entire account.

Incorrect

there is no need for HD fee if customer in a Mpeg4 local market. they can keep hd equpiment with out hd access since there locals are broadcast in mpeg4

Some where near 19/20 now. Surprisingly it comes up more then you think . Also we have plans to transition some markets to mpeg4 only

There are other ways to avoid hd access.

But if your not clever your going to get told no.
